A Little About Me

Hey friend my name is Ally Summerford. I am a farm wife to my high school sweetheart and a boy mama to three precious boys. If you add my fur baby, that makes four! I am a lover of Jesus first and fore most!

I will forever be a southern girl and forever love being in sweet home Alabama. I believe in starting the day with coffee and ending it capturing beautiful memories with a sunset.

I have always been around a camera as long as I can remember and have always had a special love for photography. After having my first son in 2017 I made those dreams a reality and Simply Southern Photography began. I am proud to serve hundreds of clients each year. I enjoy nothing more than gifting my clients with timeless memories they'll cherish for a lifetime! I have such a passion for every milestone you are going through.

I will always be your hype girl making you feel comfortable behind the camera and always reassuring you there are beautiful memories to capture in the season you are in right now! My goal is to create everlasting relationships and make sure you leave with a smile while remembering your purpose!

I have a studio space located in Downtown Hartselle. My studio space is perfect for newborns, families, milestones, headshots, etc! I do typically shoot most sessions outdoors! If you don't know a location, no worries I have the perfect spot! I am thankful to have the best of both worlds when selecting a session location. I look forward to serving you with the best experience I can provide!
